Projects - Rock River Valley AMBUCS™

The Rock River Valley AMBUCS™ have several local projects.

Our major local project is the Harlem School District Special Education Department. The Rock River Valley AMBUCS™
help to bring mainstream physically challenged students into the classroom setting by using funds to purchase:
• Adaptive equipment that allows these students to participate in basic activities, such as "sitting"
at a table or "standing" at a counter.
• High tech devices that facilitate the use of computer learning systems.
• Synthesized speech equipment that helps speech impaired students to achieve independent communication.

Other charities and organizations that have benefited from the Rock River Valley AMBUCS™ are:
• Special Olympics
• Wantz Park Project
• Children's Development Center
• Roc Vale Children's Home
• Goldie Floberg Center
• Lekotek Center
• Center of Hope
